The Navajo Nation Zoo Staff are a hard-working dedicated crew with a combined 45 years of experience in Zoo managment and Zoology on the Navajo Nation. We are:

David Mikesic, Zoologist

     ...had worked for the Dept. of Fish & Wildlife as field zoologist for 16 years prior to

         becoming the Manager of the Navajo Zoo in 2010.

Diana Harvey, Office Specialist

     ...is the newest member of Zoo Crew and has had much experience with other

         Navajo Nation Departments; her skills will be very valuable to the Zoo.

Lester Lee, Senior Zoo Maintenance Worker

      ...has worked continuously for the Navajo Zoo for the past 24 years where he has

          gained a thorough knowledge of the Zoo operations and animal care.

Archie Mull, Senior Zoo Maintenance Worker

      ...has gained expertise in all aspects of construction and renovation before joining

          the Navajo Zoo staff in 2008.

Greg Pahe, Zoo Maintenance Worker

      ...has gained expertise in welding before joining the Navajo Zoo staff in 2013; he

          serves as one of our animal care specialists.
