2011 Zoo Events

ZooFest 2011 had over 3,300 visitors on May 14th.

We celebrated the Zoo's 34th Anniversary with over 800 visitors on July 2nd.

The third annual ZooBOO! Event was hosted on October 29th with over 5,000 visitors in attendance.

The Navajo Nation Zoo staff completed a total renovation to the VISITOR RESTROOMS early in 2011. This facility needed a new roof, new plumbing, new electrical work, and all new fixtures. The result of all this work has been an incredible makeover!

This updated facility is now 100% A.D.A. compliant, has energy-saving lights switches, and has all new fixtures. Here's a picture of our new modern restrooms:

Zoo Hours: 10am - 4:30pm, Monday - Saturday, and most major holidays.

Admission is Free for everyone!
